Tasheka S. Lewis, Vice President

Tasheka S. Lewis is a native of Quincy, Florida; however, she has lived the majority of her life in Tallahassee, Florida.  She is a member of Restoration Place Tallahassee and currently serves as part of the Greeter’s Ministry.  Over the years other areas of ministry that she has served are Worship Team, bookstore lead staff, and media support staff.  She enjoys volunteering and provides support in areas such as back to school giveaways, Thanksgiving and Christmas food donations, Christmas Connection projects, and United Way.  Ms. Lewis has more than twenty-one years of customer service experience, she is a graduate of James A. Shanks High School, and is currently employed with the City of Tallahassee.

Annette E. Howard, Executive Administrator

Annette has been employed with the Agency for Health Care Administration for 28 plus years.  She is the proud mother of two children: Decca Howard and Andre Howard and the grandmother of six (Shamon, Jaleel, Jarian, Ashton, Tyler and Aubrie).  She accepted Christ at the age of 12 and is still on the battle field.  She has held leadership positions for several years such as Deaconess and President of the following ministries:  Greeter’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry and currently Pastor’s Aide Ministry.  She is a member at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.

Lenard Franklin, Treasurer

Lenard (Len) Franklin is a faithful member of Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church, Inc., Tallahassee, Florida; where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Deacons, Vice-President of the Board of Trustees, and Assistant Adult Sunday School Teacher. He is an Ordained Deacon, and an Anointed Minister of the Lord.

Lenard has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Manager (CPM). He is a retired senior accountant with over 30 years of accounting, management and financial system experience. He has memberships in several non-profit organizations, and is a contributor and supporter of the community.

La Verne A. Thomas, Secretary

La Verne A. Thomas is a native from Fort Pierce, Florida, and is married to Larry Thomas.  She is an ordained Deacon with Alarm International Ministries, Inc. of Tallahassee, Florida, and is also a partner with About My Father’s Business, Inc., a non-profit organization.

She has held various positions in ministry such as Director of New Members’ Orientation, Sunday School Teacher, Coordinator for the Young People Department (YPD), District Secretary for the Sunday School Convention, and Junior Class Leader.  She is also the co–founder of the former organization, Sisters United in Christ, Inc.  She enjoys volunteering in numerous community activities such as prison ministry, food and clothing ministry, back to school giveaways, and mentoring young adults.  She also was part of the mission team of Alarm International Ministries for mission work in Kampala, Uganda in 2013.
